1. Cultural Events of the Embassy
The Embassy of Japan organizes various PR and cultural events to strengthen interaction and mutual understanding between Japan and Lebanon. We update you on the events on the top page of the website and on our Facebook page.
2. Embassy's Patronage to Events Related to Japan
Any organization planning a project and seeking nominal support from the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon can request by submitting an application form and other documents by email (click here for more information).
Please note that nominal support may not be granted depending on the content of the project
3. Rental of Japanese materials
The Embassy has some Japanese decorative items which may be nice to display as part of an exhibition for any event related to Japan at University or school or any NGO.
(1) The event needs
- to be firmly related to Japan
- to be politically and religiously impartial
- to be non-profitable
- to be open to public
(2) Submit a request explaining the event and designating the nature, place, date and time of the event at least three weeks prior to the event to culture@bt.mofa.go.jp.
(3) The chosen items are taken and brought back to the Embassy’s premises in Beirut and handled to the person in charge.
(4) After selecting the rental items, sign a pledge to be able to use the items.
Education
The Government of Japan offers scholarships to Lebanese students who wish to study in Japan as (1) Research Students (postgraduate level), (2) Undergraduate Students and (3) College Technology Students.
The applicants for the scholarships have to go through selection process conducted by the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon.
