Japan Supports the Newly Established Hazmieh Municipal Primary Health Care Center

The Embassy of Japan supports the Hazmieh Municipal Primary Health Care Center with medical equipment, in order to provide enhanced medical services in the area for both the local and refugee communities.

To fund the project, on February 5 2019, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon signed a grant contract with Mr. Jean El Asmar, President of Hazmieh Municipality, in the presence of H.E. Member of Parliament, Dr. Farid Bustany. With a grant of USD 89,147, this project will benefit at least 8000 residents and Syrian refugees, who will gain access to proper medical services in the area.
