Japan Provides Waste Collection Trucks to Municipalities in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate

The Embassy of Japan funded three solid waste collection trucks for three municipalities in Baalbek and Hermel, in order to improve the waste management system in the area.
On December 21 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, attended the inauguration ceremony organized by LOST. Through the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Program (GGP), LOST will be able to enhance the quality of life of 17,000 residents and refugees of Al-Ram, Al-Shawaghir, and Al-Ansar municipalities. The project will also help maintain the environment and promote recycling.
