The Embassy of Japan in Lebanon is recruiting one local staff member for consular services (in a primarily support capacity) and front-desk services. Qualified applicants are invited to submit the required documents by Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Consular services (in a primarily support capacity), front-desk services, receiving visitors, document handling, and administrative support

3. Required Qualifications
  • Applicants must be legally residing in Lebanon.
  • Medically fit to perform assigned duties.
  • Working proficiency in Arabic, English, and French.
  • Japanese language skills are highly preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience in administrative work, customer service, or consular-related tasks is desirable.
 
4. Working Conditions
  • Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
(subject to change based on operational needs)
  • One-hour lunch break included.
  • Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
  • Salary will be determined in accordance with the Embassy’s salary scale and paid in U.S. Dollars.
