2024/7/29

On July 25, Ambassador Magoshi attended the signing ceremony of the Productive Economic Inclusion in Lebanon project between the World Bank and the René Mouawad Foundation. The project will be funded under a USD 2.7 million grant from the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) to help enhance the livelihood of the most disadvantaged Lebanese households.
In his speech Ambassador Magoshi said this initiative will help create income generating opportunities for the Lebanese people with a focus on rebuilding livelihood sources and achieving financial independence. He hoped that this project, under the guidance of the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs, will serve as a base model that could be built upon in the future and replicated in other sectors to promote sustainable economic opportunities across the country.
