DCM attended the launching ceremony of a project to establish an Exhibition Facility at an Archaeological Site in Batroun through ADUNA funded by Japan

On May 28, 2024, Mr. Kiyoshi MIHARA, Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan attended the launching ceremony of a project funded by the “Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects (GCGP)” to establish an exhibition facility at an archaeological site in Batroun through ADUNA, the friends of Akkar and Arqa for the development of Heritage and Culture, with the presence of his Excellency Judge Mohamad Mortada, Ministry of Culture.
The exhibition facility is intended to serve as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Batroun and as a platform for showcasing its historical significance to both local and international audiences. This project will not only support the preservation of the legacy of Batroun's archaeological treasures but also facilitate educational initiatives and cultural exchange programs for future generations.
