Conferment Ceremony of a decoration of Japan to Ms. Samar Khashan, Former Senior Assistant to the Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon

On March 4, 2024, H.E. Mr. MAGOSHI Masayuki, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, conferred a decoration "The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays" on Ms. Samar Khashan, former Senior Assistant to the Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon.
The decoration was conferred in appreciation of her tremendous contribution to the Japanese diplomatic services and strengthening of bilateral relations between Japan and Lebanon. It was held at the Ambassador’s residence in the presence of members of her family, friends and colleagues.
Ambassador Magoshi expressed his deep appreciation to Ms. Khashan for her long-standing contribution not only to strengthening the bilateral relations but to establishing a valuable network of people between Japan and Lebanon throughout her 37 years of dedicated work despite the difficult circumstances that Lebanon had gone through.
For her part, Ms. Khashan expressed her gratitude to the decoration stressing the importance of Japan in her life and affirming her continued support to Japan.
