On September 13, Ambassador Magoshi participated in the launching ceremony of the “Markazouna Community Center” in Tripoli, which was established in the framework of a grant from the Government of Japan through the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security in support of the most vulnerable communities in the area.
This project and with the efforts of UN Habitat, UN Women, and UNICEF along with several local partners, will help protect and empower the targeted individuals through the provision of a multitude of resources and opportunities in a safe and supportive environment. The Japanese Government will continue to prioritize initiatives aimed at strengthening human security and enhancing the livelihoods of the disadvantaged populations across Lebanon.
