Ambassador Okubo tours Japanese-funded projects in North Lebanon with UNIDO

On October 11, Ambassador Okubo visited the Japanese-funded projects in North Lebanon, implemented by UNIDO from 2016 to 2019. The projects involved establishing a carpentry vocational training center in Zgharta, and supporting furniture producers across the North through the provision of advanced machinery and training programs. During his visit, Ambassador Okubo met with several small and medium sized enterprises working in the carpentry sector in Tripoli, and discussed with them the positive impacts of the projects on their business.
