Japan provides Medical Equipment for Abdullah Rassi Governmental Hospital

The Government of Japan provided LED Surgical Lights and an Endoscopy machine for the surgical unit in Dr. Abdullah Rassi Governmental Hospital in Halba, to improve the medical services in the area for both the local and refugee communities.
On the occasion of the project completion, on April 18 2019, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, attended the project completion ceremony in the hospital. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mohammed Khadreen, General Director of Abdullah Rassi Governmental Hospital. With a grant of USD 87,382, this project will benefit at least 2100 patients annually, who will gain access to proper and enhanced medical services.
