Embassy of Japan Holds a Japan Day in Lebanese University

On February 19th 2019, the Embassy of Japan held a “Japan Day” event at the Lebanese University, in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture – Branch II, which attracted more than 300 students in the university.
The event introduced Japan through, Japanese martial arts show, a Japanese animated movie, and a Japanese music mini concert of Shinobue (Japanese Flute). In addition, the Embassy offered the workshops on the Japanese traditional clothing (Yukata), Japanese calligraphy (Shodo), paper folding (Origami), the traditional washi paper handcraft (Kurumie), and the traditional art of flower arrangement (Ikebana).
