The Japanese Ambassador attends the opening ceremony of the LEBA-JICA Regional Workshop

On November 30, 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, attended the opening ceremony of the LEBA-JICA Regional Workshop entitled “Exchanging Expertise on Alumni Trainees’ Projects Funded by JICA”. The LEBA-JICA (JICA Alumni Association in Lebanon), organized the workshop under the patronage of Ambassador Yamaguchi, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, and in collaboration with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), at Ramada Plaza Hotel Beirut.
This year, JICA Alumni Trainees from Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, and Syria attended the workshop and shared their experiences in utilizing the expertise they acquired through the JICA training program, within the implementation of the national strategies in their countries.
