The Japanese Ambassador celebrates the completion of the project to improve 14 governmental hospitals with the Lebanese Minister of Public Health

Japan has provided the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health with a $5 million Emergency Grant, to help equip 14 governmental hospitals across Lebanon with advanced Japanese medical equipment. The hospitals have recently received and installed all the medical equipment.
On August 7 2018, H.E Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, the Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, attended a meeting at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, to celebrate the successful completion of the project with Caretaker Minister of Public Health H.E Mr. Ghassan Hasbani. The Japanese donation aims to support the public hospitals in coping with the increasing medical needs of the host communities and refugees.
