A delegation from the Embassy of Japan attends the graduation ceremony of women trainees

Japan funded USD 2.4 million for the project of supporting women and youth in host community, which was implemented by UN Women in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
On the occasion of the graduation of women and girls trainees at the Ghazir Community Center, on February 27 2018, a delegation from the Embassy of Japan to Lebanon, attended a ceremony organized by UN Women, in the presence of the Social Affairs Minister H.E. Mr. Pierre Bou Assi. Through this project, the trainees acquired skills that will help them find employment opportunities and reach decision making positions.
