Japan Supports Al NADWAH dispensary in Aley

The Embassy of Japan provided an endoscopy unit and portable X-ray device to Al NADWAH dispensary in Qmatiye, in order to enhance the quality of medical services in the area.
On the occasion of the project completion, on February 22 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, attended the inaguration ceremony organized by Al NADWAH Cultural and Social Club. The Japanese funded equipment were provided in cooperation with FUJIFILM, a leading Japanese company in the healthcare sector, through the public-private partnership scheme of the Grant Assistance of Grass-roots Human Security Program (PPP-GGP). With the newly provided endoscopy and portable X-ray units, around 3,425 residents in the area will have access to improved medical services.
