Japan Provides Support to Secours Populaire Libanais and Dr. Abdullah Al Rasi Governmental Hospital

The Embassy of Japan provides advanced medical equipment to SPL clinic in Saida and Dr. Abdullah Al Rasi Hospital in Akkar for helping thousands of residents and refugees.

To fund the project, on January 24 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon signed a grant contract respectively with Dr. Walid Hachicho, Chief of SPL in Saida, and Dr. Hussein El Masri, Director General of Dr. Abdullah Al Rasi Governmental Hospital, which provides USD 158,606 in total through the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Program (GGP).
