Japan Supports the Palestinian Red Crescent Society – Lebanon

The Embassy of Japan continues to support Haifa Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Lebanon (PRCS-L), in order to improve the quality of medical services in the hospital.
To fund the project, on February 20 2019, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon signed a grant contract with Dr. Samer Chehade, Director of PRCS-L, in the presence of Ms. Maki Igarashi, Japanese Red Cross Regional Representative for the Middle East and North Africa. With a grant of USD 88,800, this project will benefit at least 9000 patients annually, who will gain access to proper and enhanced medical services.
