Japan Supports Jowaya Technical School in Sour

The Embassy of Japan provides Jowaya Technical School in Sour with the educational equipment for the mechanics and electronics laboratories, in order to improve the quality of education in the school and increase students' skills and knowledge.
To fund the project, on October 29, 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon signed a grant contract with Mr. Anwar Jammal, President of Ali Jammal Social Education Institutions, a local NGO that provides several services including education, health and humanitarian assistance to the residents of Jowaya and the neighboring areas.
