Japan Supports Meiss El Jabal Governmental Hospital

The Embassy of Japan provided X-ray machines to Meiss El Jabal Governmental Hospital in Marjayoun, in order to enhance the quality of medical services in the area.

On the occasion of the project completion, on August 10 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, attended the ceremony organized by the hospital. The Ceremony was also attended by Mayors and Mukhtars of the area, in addition to different religious figures. With a grant of USD 90,712 through the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Program (GGP), around 35,000 residents including Syrian refugees in the areas will benefit from the enhanced medical services provided by the hospital.
