Japan Supports the Rehabilitation Center of Al-Kafaat Foundation

The Embassy of Japan supports the renovation of Lily Shwayri Rehabilitation Center in Hadath, in order to provide a safer living and educational environment for the children with special needs.
To fund the project, on July 9 2018, H.E. Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi, Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon signed a grant contract with Mr. Ramzi Choueiri, CEO of Al-Kafaat Foundation, which provides medical and rehabilitation services to people with special needs in its centers. With a grant of USD 89,000, this project will benefit around 582 children residing in the center.
