Japan assists Oyama Sport Center

Japan will donate US$ 12,900 through the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects of Japan to Oyama Sport Center at Haret Hreick. The Charge d'Affairs a.i. of the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon, Mr. Tatsuyuki Ueda, and the President of the Oyama Sport Center, Mr. Hachem Mustafa Makki, signed a contract to this effect at the Embassy of Japan today.

The grant aims at equipping the Oyama Sport Center with Tatami mats for Karate.

The Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Project of Japan has extended US$209,904 since 2001 to finance cultural projects throughout Lebanon proposed and implemented by NGOs and municipalities, and educational, cultural and sports organizations.
