Japan will donate US$ 83,546 through its Grassroots Grants Program to Saint John Baptist School in Ain El Rihaneh, Kesrouane for rehabilitating the building of the girls dormitory and constructing a brick canopy on it.
Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon Mr. Yoshihisa Kuroda and School Principal Sister Pascale Abdel Nour, signed a contract to this effect at the Embassy of Japan today.
Japan’s Grassroots Grants Program has so far extended more than US$ 7.6 Million since 1996 to finance development projects throughout Lebanon proposed and implemented by municipalities, NGOs, hospitals, private schools, research institutes, and other non-profit organizations.
