The MEXT scholarship for postgraduate studies

 

     

The Government of Japan offers scholarship for postgraduate studies for Lebanese nationals under 35 years old. The scholarship program covers all the fields of study at all the Japanese universities and will provide full coverage of tuition and monthly allowance to the students (see Application guidelines).

All the applicants are required to submit the relevant documents (Application form, Certificate of health, Field of study and research program plan, Placement preference form and the recommendation form) to the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon before 15:00 June 3, 2016.

 

P.S. Please note that the documents applied to the Embassy cannot be returned.

 

 

The schedule of screening is as follows:

1. First screening: Documents

• Deadline of submission of application                          Friday, June 3, 2016 15:00

    2. Second screening: Writing exam

• Exam date and Result:                                                 Friday, July 1, 2016

     3. Third screening: Interview

• Interview date:                                                         Monday 4 and Tuesday, 5 July, 2016

• Result:                                                                     by Monday,  July 11, 2016

     4. Fourth screening: MEXT decision:                                September - January, 2016

 

     5. Final acceptance:                                                          January – February, 2017
