Japan Fun Day out

 

On Saturday, September 23, 2017, The Embassy of Japan in Lebanon in collaboration with The Lebanese Band Association for the promotion of Music (LeBAM) and Broumana High School organized a Fun Cultural Day Out to meet the Japanese Culture.
Over 500 persons attended the event and enjoyed a mini-concert of Japanese music with OUMI ensemble and Ms. Nobuko Miyazaki, workshops on kurumie (washi paper paintings) with Mrs. Khouloud Sinno Hibri, origami (folding paper art) with Mrs. Seiko Hatakeyama, ikebana (flower arrangement art) with Mrs. Caline Cazandjian and calligraphy as well as kimono dressing, Japanese dolls and art crafts exhibition.
