Ambassador Otsuka Inaugurates the Renovated Center
of
Howard Karagheusian for Child Welfare
The Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Seiichi Otsuka, inaugurated on Friday 31 October, 2014, the newly renovated center of “Howard Karagheusian Association for Child Welfare” in Bourj Hammoud on Friday. The Government of Japan extended a grant of 74,400 USD for the establishment of a new dental clinic and the provision of an ultrasound machine and a power generator to the healthcare center through its Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP).
Ribbon Cutting with Ambassador Otsuka, along with the director of Karagheusian Center, Mr. Serop Ohanian, the executive director, Ms. Irina Lazarian and representatives from The Ministry of Public Health. The Board Members of the Karagheusian Commemorative Association present a plaque of appreciation to Ambassador Otsuka.
