The Japanese Ambassador attends a handover ceremony in Tripoli


On November 6 2017, the Ambassador of Japan to Lebanon, H.E Mr. Matahiro Yamaguchi attended the  hand-over ceremony of two Japanese funded solid waste and desludging trucks to the Municipality of Deddeh, a notable accomplishment within the project of “Support to the Essential WASH needs of children and their families affected by the Syria Crisis in Lebanon” funded by the government of Japan through a USD 1.1 million grant and implemented by UNICEF in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, the Ministry of Energy and Water and municipalities.
