On the weekend of 26 and 27 August 2017, the Embassy of Japan in collaboration with the Municipality of Bcharreh held the event “Japan in Bcharreh”. The people attended the event enjoyed a Japanese flute mini-concert by Ms. Nobuko Miyazaki, workshops on kurumie (washi paper paintings) with Mrs. Khouloud Sinno Hibri, origami (folding paper art) with Mrs. Laure Fayad, ikebana (flower arrangement art) with Ms. Viviane Torbey and calligraphy as well as kimono dressing, Japanese dolls and art crafts exhibition.
